1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe Sellers Notes

If you want a car that is ready to cruise then this is it. Basically it needs nothing to impress your family and friends, or just get thumbs up from people on the street. This is one solid camaro. You will not be disappointed. all gauges, dash penel lights, dome light and center console light, exterior lights, windshield wipers, blinkers, high beams work. Speedo is accurate. 1970 1/2 Camaro Ralley Sport Split Bumper 350 Automatic. Clear California . Car has been in California it's whole life. -Original Hugger Orange with Black interior. Engine Block casting # 3932386 350 cubic inches, 4 bolt main, aluminum intake. Rebuilt 7 years ago by previous owner. mild cam. Electronic ignition. I just had the holley carb rebuilt and dialed it in. runs great and never let me down. No leaks. Posi rear end, Turbo 350 transmission rebuilt and no leaks, A/C (not working) , Front disc brakes, power steering, center console, one repaint as far as i can tell. Floor pans and trunk pan are all solid. No Rot issues on this one. Vehicle Identification # 124870L5***** First digit is GM Division: 1 = Chevrolet 24 = 8-cyl Camaro Digits 4&5 are body type: 87 = 2dr. coupe Sixth digit is model year: 0 = 1970 Seventh digit is for Van Nuys. Last six digits increased one with each car built at each plant. TR 711 Standard Black interior Paint 65 65 Hugger Orange 06D 055530 220512 I've Seen the original orange paint on every body panel on the car. I do not beleive the car has ever been in any accidents. It is as straight as an arrow. The previous owner had this car for over 20 years whom bought it from the original owner. He had it painted about 7 years ago and rebuilt the motor and tranny then let it sit in his garage ever since. Since I bought it from him I have had the following work done. - Rebuilt rear brakes and new master cylinder installed. - New exhaust with flow masters all the way out the back. - New Starter, alternator, voltage regulator, newer battery. - Rebuilt Holley 600cfm Carburetor. - New weather stripping. I drove it to work and surprisingly it rained. When I got in the car there were no leaks. Right on! - New carpet and covered front and rear seats. dash and all panels are original to the car and for a 40 year old car, thar are in great condition. dash has no cracks. There is one picture with the trunk open when the trunk springs were being changed. You can see there is NO rust in the rear deck between the rear window and the trunk. The springs are installed. Also notice the pic of the spoiler before it was installed. It is a Barnum Bros. Fibre Co. Detroit Mich. 3 piece spoiler. Flaws: No radio or speakers, Driver side window has scratches (can't see them with the window open). Paint has some chips and minor bubbleing.
